Interested in attending seminary?

In recent years, Concordia has prepared more candidates for ELCA-rostered ministry than any other college or university in the country. Thanks to our strong liberal arts education and our one-on-one preseminary advisory work, students leave Concordia with the tools they need to prepare themselves for a life in ministry.

While there are a variety of undergraduate tracks that will prepare you for seminary, majoring in religion with a faith and leadership concentration is a great way to gain leadership skills for faith communities, service organizations, non-profits and more.

Our graduates attend such prestigious schools as Princeton Divinity School, Yale Divinity School, the University of Chicago Divinity School and Harvard Divinity School. Other seminaries include Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minn.; Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley, Calif.; Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa; and the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago.
