Sigma Pi Sigma is the official honor society of the physics profession. Through election to Sigma Pi Sigma, distinctive achievement and high scholarship in physics is recognized and celebrated. Concordia College is proud to hold and maintain a chapter of Sigma Pi Sigma.

Students who meet high academic standards are inducted into the society in their junior or senior year. Membership in the society is a life-long honor and  inductees join an august group including numerous Nobel Prize recipients.
