Application

  • We have attached a copy of the application.  We recommend you complete the paper copy as a draft before you begin to complete the questions in the DICAS system.
  • DICAS will ask you to identify the courses required for the DPD.  YOU MUST LIST THEM IN THE ORDER THEY WERE TAKEN.  Here at Concordia those courses are listed below:
    • Oral Communication 100
    • Written Communication 100
    • Chemistry 111 or 127
    • Chemistry 142
    • Biology 101 or 121
    • Biology 306
    • Biology 207
    • One Business course from Bus 307, Bus 323, Bus 339, Bus 376, or Bus 377
    • One Statistics course from Econ 274, Math 205, Psych 230, or Soc 228
    • Psychology 111
    • FND 112, FND 239, FND 321, FND 346, FND 360, FND 362, FND 424, FND 425, FND 426, FND 446
  • If you  have additional courses that you want to highlight you can do this in a different section of the application.  For example:  In the section on Extracurricular you can say, "additional courses completed to enhance my application include:"  If you choose to add these I would suggest you highlight courses such as pharmacology, genetics, fitness assessment, exercise physiology, additional business courses, additional communications courses or if you are fluent in Spanish.
  • Be sure to include all your honors and volunteer experiences in the appropriate sections even though it says they are not required.
  • Be sure to include your work experiences.
