Collaboration Between Nursing Department and Concordia Language Villages Extended Through New Clinical Program

A new collaboration between the Language Villages and Concordia’s nursing department allowed six nursing students to live at the Villages and conduct pediatric and community health clinicals this past summer. The students were under the direction of Linda Erceg, associate director for health and risk management at the Villages. The students, participants in Concordia’s accelerated nursing track program, gained a more complete perspective of adolescents’ health-related needs in a setting outside their home environment.
