Nursing

Our nursing department is committed to preparing you for a successful future while encouraging you to find your vocation. You’ll learn from professors who have extensive experience in nursing, and benefit from hands-on clinicals in the many healthcare facilities close to campus and across the region. All of this goes along with our small class sizes and core curriculum of liberal arts courses. Our nursing program is nationally accredited, and when you’ve successfully completed the program, you’ll be able to take the nursing board examination to become licensed as a registered nurse (RN).

Though Concordia’s nursing program is rigorous, many students are also involved in other activities, like Concordia’s renowned music programs, strong athletics or numerous other student organizations across campus, including the student nursing association.

Our department offers two nursing programs:
  • Major in nursing leading to a Bachelor of Arts degree
  • Accelerated nursing program leading to a second major in nursing
