How Do I...?
How Do I Find a Specific Book?
-
Go to MnPALS Plus (the online library catalog), available from the library's homepage.
-
If you know the full title or the author's full name, search for your item by putting the author or title words in the box and making the appropriate choice in the dropdown menu.
- If you don't know the full title or the author's full name, the Advanced Search is more powerful. It allows you to search using multiple pieces of information at the same time. For example, search Author "Lewis" AND Title "wardrobe" will get you C.S. Lewis's The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
-
If you find a book you want, it will tell you whether or not it is checked out. Books that Concordia does not own or that are checked out can be obtained by interlibrary loan.
