How Do I Find a Specific Article (Online or in Print)?

If you are not looking for a particular journal, magazine, or newspaper, but want to find articles on a given subject in any magazine, journal, or newspaper, click here.

  1. Go to the library's homepage. On the right-hand menu on the library's homepage, locate the Find It button and click on it.

  2. On the next page in the "journal title" box, type in the title of the journal, magazine, or newspaper that you need and click the Go button.

  3. In the popup window, locate and click the title that most closely matches your title. In the next window, you may have one or more options. If the journal, magazine, or newspaper is available electronically, one or more options will be listed under the heading Concordia's Electronic Collections. Click on one of the links that appears after the phrase "Full text available via..." to access that journal, magazine, or newspaper. If you are off-campus, you may be asked to log in with your Concordia username and password.

  4. If there are no matching titles, Concordia may have the title in print. Click on the "Search MnPALS" link under the heading Concordia's Print Collections to search Concordia's online library catalog. If you find a match, visit the library and locate the title in the Periodicals section (south side of the library).
