Computer Access Policy
Concordia Users
Concordia students, staff and faculty may use all library public computers, laptops, data ports, and wireless access. The Instruction Lab in the Curriculum Center will be available for general use when not booked for instruction. Public service desk computers and teaching computers in the Instruction Lab and classroom are available for library staff only.
Visitors
Tri-College students (NDSU and MSUM), clergy, and other community members will be allowed computer access by using the "visitor" name and password. The visitor password will be available at the Reference Desk and at the Office of Admissions. Visitors should present a current valid ID from NDSU, MSUM or a Concordia Community Card to receive the "visitor" password. Exceptions will be made for guests of the college. Visitors are not allowed access to our data ports and they cannot checkout our laptops. A record/log of visitors will be kept by the Reference staff who are responsible for maintaining and appropriately purging the record/log after statistics have been compiled. Changes to the password will be made biweekly or as needed by Computer Services.
Concordia users and visitors are obligated to adhere to Concordia College Computer Policies. Visitors will be asked to read and sign a form agreeing to adhere to these policies.
