A complete application to the Master of Education program requires submission of the following materials:
1. Letter of application indicating intent and required materials submitted for application
2. Completed application for admission to graduate study program
3. Application fee (Applications of students seeking admission to Concordia College for the first time must be accompanied by a non-refundable $35 check, made payable to Concordia College.)
4. Essay of at least 500 words typed and double-spaced, that represents your highest level of academic writing. Provide a description of your professional experiences and background that have contributed to your readiness for graduate education. Specify those experiences that prepared you for your desired master’s degree. State your professional goals and indicate your potential to achieve this degree.
5. Sealed or certified copies of official transcripts for all post-secondary academic work should be sent directly to the Office of Graduate and Continuing Studies at Concordia College.
6. Two (2) professional references (from professional colleagues, use form provided)
7. One (1) personal reference (no form, letter describing personal characteristics)

The program operates on a rolling admission basis. Review of applicant files will begin on March 1, 2010 and will continue through May 1, 2010 or until the cohort is filled.
All admissions materials must be received and processed by the Office of Graduate and Continuing Studies before files are forwarded to the admission committee for review. Incomplete files will not be reviewed. It is the applicant’s responsibility to follow up on the status of materials submitted to the college.
