Concordia Language Villages

Concordia Language Villages is an internationally recognized program that gives children and adults the exciting opportunity to explore a language during the summer or academic year. With 14 Villages to choose from, villagers can spend anywhere from a day to an entire month with dedicated professionals and students eager to enhance their own skills while educating the villagers.

Each summer, around 9,500 young people, and 500 adults enroll in Concordia Language Villages. Another 1,200 are employed as counselors, program leaders, healthcare workers and kitchen staff.

Concordia Language Villages’ reputation is further supported by world leaders including former U.S. President Bill Clinton, UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, former U.S. Vice President Walter Mondale and King Harald V of Norway.
