Majors

At Concordia, we’ll help you take your global education even further with our two global majors - Global Studies and International Business.

Our global studies major is unique in that it engages you in dialogue across the traditionally disparate areas of global and regional studies. You’ll learn to apply multiple disciplinary and regional perspectives to study global issues in one of three tracks: global systems and issues, cultural and regional studies, or worlds in dialogue.

As an international business major, you will prepare for a career in global business and exchange. This major combines courses in business, accounting and one of five modern global language areas: French, German, Spanish, Scandinavian Studies or Russian. The specific coursework is designed for your own interests and abilities, and allows you to broaden and enhance your comprehension of the material. You can choose from four different specializations — management, marketing, economics or finance. There are many opportunities for internships and travel abroad programs that allow you to explore your vocation even further.
