Domestic Opportunities

Global education doesn’t just mean traveling overseas. At Concordia, there are opportunities for studying off campus in the United States – including semesters in Chicago and Washington, D.C.

If you’re interested in finding out how a large metropolitan city works from a social justice perspective, our Urban Studies program in Chicago could be for you. The program places students in some of Illinois’ most influential governmental and nonprofit organizations, while living in one of Chicago’s vibrant neighborhoods.

If you’d rather explore political science, law or communications, pack your bags for our programs in Washington, D.C. While studying at The American University, you’ll intern at a government agency or Congressional office. Our students also participate in a similar program, the Lutheran College Washington Semester.
