Minneapolis-based sculptors and Minneapolis College of Art and Design instructors Donald Myhre, Leslie Kelman, Patrick Carmody and Patrick Brennen present sculpture created with advanced computer-generated designs such as Rapid-Prototype process and CNC technology, which utilize computer-generated designs to produce the sculpture. This exhibit showcases these techniques, featuring a wide range of size, media and subject matter; it shows how technology is changing and challenging traditional sculpting methods and the studio environment. Myhre will discuss these issues through demonstrations and a gallery talk as part of the 2009 Faith, Reason and World Affairs Symposium, "Where is the We in an iWorld? Technology and Learning in the 21st Century."
