Programs of Study

Concordia offers three separate majors in the English department — something that sets us apart from other schools our size. These majors are ideal for anyone interested in writing, editing, publishing or teaching, as well as anyone who wants to use their English skills to complement a different career path.

Concordia’s English department offers these three majors:
•    English literature
•    English writing
•    English education

Beginning in 2011-12, Concordia also offers a major in Multimedia Journalism, an interdisciplinary major combining courses from English, Communications, and Art.  A listing of the major requirements can be found in the Current Students section under Multimedia Journalism.
