English Alumni

Our English department grads are doing impressive things with their degrees.

We’re proud that they’re succeeding in a variety of careers, from writing instructor at The Loft Literary Center to editor of the Winona (Minn.) Daily News to technical writer at Microsoft. Other grads use their English background to enhance their career in a different field, such as business, communication, science or history. One English department alumnus practices law in Minneapolis after working for the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee in Washington, D.C. Another teaches English and German at a Colorado high school.

Still others choose to continue their education at top universities, including the University of Oregon, University of Minnesota, and the University of Kansas. No matter which direction your future takes, we’re excited to help get you there.
