Springer's 25 years of reporting at daily newspapers has earned him a reputation as one of the area's most respected journalists. As a senior reporter at The Forum daily newspaper in Fargo, N.D., Springer specializes in investigative and interpretive reporting. He has won many national and regional awards for his work, and was named an Outstanding Alumni by South Dakota State University in Brookings. Springer has a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from Emerson College.
