Repeating elementary methods clinicals
If necessary, you may need to repeat a clinical. This involves registering for a one credit of independent study (Ed 480), spending at least 45 hours in a classroom and teaching 15 consecutive lessons once you get to know the students. A typical schedule is to spend five weeks in a classroom (three hours at a time). At least two formal visits from a college faculty member are made. Lesson plans and reflections are submitted each Thursday for reading by the faculty member. A schedule of teaching time each week is submitted in advance of teaching.
