Pedagogy and Professional Development Support for Teaching Effectiveness

The College supports the following faculty development programs:

Assessment Mini-grants

Up to $1000 per program, including faculty stipends of $50 per day, is available to support the development and implementation of assessment plans at the department/program level.  The goal of these plans is to assess student learning outcomes in meaningful ways.  Contact the director of academic assessment (x4723) for details.


Assessment Consultant

The director of academic assessment (x4723), supports faculty assessment activities and assists in the development and implementation of assessment plans.


Service Learning Coordinator

Chelle Lyons Hanson, director of Leadership and Service and assistant to the dean of Student Development, (x3640) can advise faculty on all aspects of service learning as a pedagogy, including syllabi, community partnerships and assessment of student learning.
