Writing across the Core Workshop

Concordia has a long tradition of writing across the curriculum.  The Faculty Senate identified the need for renewed efforts in this area by passing a “Writing Across the Core” requirement.  It is expected that all core courses will have significant writing expectations.  The English Department will convene a leadership team for this workshop, to be held in the spring or summer each year.  During the academic year, faculty will serve as writing consultants to faculty teaching in the Core Curriculum.  The writing consultant works with colleagues to develop proper uses for writing their classes.
