Programs of Study

The chemistry department offers two majors—the standard chemistry major and the more rigorous American Chemical Society (ACS)-certified major for those who plan to work in industry or are preparing for graduate school. In addition, we offer a five-course chemistry minor, an interdisciplinary neuroscience minor and a choice of education majors. Exceptional students may also graduate with chemistry honors.
