Chemistry Alumni

Graduate schools across the country actively seek out Concordia chemistry graduates. In the past 10 years surveyed, Concordia students have achieved an 88 percent acceptance rate into medical school.

Concordia chemistry graduates, including three recent Goldwater Scholars, are currently pursuing advanced degrees at Cornell, MIT, Creighton, USC, the University of Illinois, the University of Minnesota, Iowa State, UND and other top universities. They’re studying dentistry, pharmacy, medicine, and physical, analytical, organic and inorganic chemistry. Recent grads are working at a forensic crime lab in Chicago, the National Institute of Standards and Technology in Boulder, Colo., and the Hennepin County Medical Center as an AIDS pharmacist.
