Off-Campus Recycling


If you live off campus in Moorhead or Fargo, you can still recycle. Recyclable materials are collected from residential homes at the curb, every other week, on the scheduled garbage collection day. Residents are required to use a designated recycling container to help crews identify recyclable materials.

The following materials are collected for recycling:
  • Plastics (anything with a recycling symbol, except #3 and #6)
  • Clear and colored glass bottles and jars
  • Steel, tin and aluminum cans
  • Newspaper
  • Corrugated cardboard and paperboard (such as cereal boxes)
  • Paper (all colors except neon brights)
