Dr. Jacqueline Bussie Biography

bussieDr. Jacqueline Bussie, Ph.D., Presenter

Bussie is Director of the Forum on Faith and Life and Associate Professor of Religion at Concordia College. She teaches and publishes in the areas of theology, service-learning, problem of evil studies, Christian ethics, interfaith cooperation, and faith and public life. Her education includes a Bachelor of Arts Magna Cum Laude from Davidson College, a Master of Arts in Religion from Yale University, a Master of Arts in Religious Studies from the University of Virginia, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Theology, Ethics and Culture from the University of Virginia. In addition to journal publications she is a sought after speaker, facilitator and member of Phi Beta Kappa. Her first book, The Laughter of the Oppressed (2007), was the winner of the national Trinity Prize.
