CONCORDIA TO PRESENT JAZZ ENSEMBLE CONCERT

    The Concordia College Music Department will present Jazz I and Jazz II in concert at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 9 in Buxton - Hanson Hall (Orchestra Rehearsal Hall/North Choral Room), Hvidsten Hall of Music.
    Jazz I, conducted by assistant professor of music Russell Peterson and guest conductor Jane Linde Capistran, instructor of music and conductor of the Concordia College Symphonia, will include guest soloist Sarah Morken.
    Jazz II is conducted by Peter Knudsvig, associate professor of music, and guest conductor Nathaniel Dickey, assistant professor of music and conductor of the Cobber Band. They will perform works by Victor Lopez, Austin Bren, Jerome Kern, Neal Hefti, Clifford Brown and Lennon/McCartney.
    The concert is free and open to the public.
